Nathan Tsoi presented our work on SEAN and SEAN-EP at the AAAI Spring Symposium on ML for Mobile Robot Navigation in the Wild which took place on March 22-24, 2021. The symposium brought together researchers who are interested in using machine learning to enable mobile robot navigation in complex, unstructured environments. It provided a shared platform to discuss learning fundamental navigation (sub)problems, despite different application scenarios.

Nathan’s presentation can be seen here. For more details, check out his paper entitled “Early Prototyping and Human Evaluation of Social Robot Navigation via Online Interactive Simulations.”
